Starting in October, h+h americas will host a monthly roundtable for the craft business community.

Hosted exclusively on our online platform, h+h connect, the monthly h+h americas roundtable will serve as a dedicated space for craft businesses to gather virtually. We want our community to take this opportunity to voice their concerns, dialogue and share solutions, and generate innovative thoughts and ideas around the future of h+h americas. Where do you want the show to go? How do you want h+h americas to serve the craft industry? How can h+h americas best represent our diverse, interwoven community?

Koelnmesse Inc. Vice President Darrin Stern will open the monthly roundtable discussion with the most current updates about the upcoming h+h americas show. The latter half of the roundtable will open the floor to participant discussions. We want to hear your feedback! Past exhibitors can share insights about their previous experience at h+h americas, and exhibitors considering participation in future shows can ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the h+h americas exhibitor experience. The aim of the monthly roundtable is to generate further dialogue around the show so that we continue to grow and refine the experience for everyone in the craft industry.

To start, h+h americas roundtable events will be open to exhibitors only. This does not mean participants must have exhibited at h+h americas in the past. If you have attended h+h americas in the past or plan to attend in the future, the monthly roundtable is for you. This includes:

  • Content Creators
  • Influencers
  • Designers
  • Craft Educators
  • Inventors
  • Indie Fiber Dyers
  • Indie Fabric Designers
  • Wholesale Manufacturers

  • Suppliers

To keep things organized and as efficient as possible, the h+h connect roundtables will follow an alternating format. Each month will feature a different craft community group. The first roundtable hosted the fabric community (covering sewing, quilting, garment making, fabrics, etc). The next roundtable will host the fiber community (covering yarn, needlepoint, weaving, knitting, crocheting, etc.). Roundtables will alternate back and forth from October onward, with the Fabric community meeting on odd months and the Fiber community meeting on even months.

The first meeting of the h+h americas roundtable will host the Fiber Community on October 18 at 11:30 am CT.

To attend an h+h americas roundtable, simply log on to h+h connect and navigate to “Platform Events.”
